The Maxima Group was established in 1985 as a not for profit organisation, tasked with assisting members of our local community gain entry to careers and employment. For the last 30 years, Maxima has grown to deliver services to job seekers, students, employers and all three tiers of Government, in every State and Territory of the Commonwealth.
Maxima is a premier partner to Local Government for the placement, employment and training of trainees and apprentices and works closely with major national employers in the employment and training of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our suite of services cover most areas of the human resource field including; Disability Employment Services, Disability Assessment, Vocational Assessment and Rehabilitation and re-employment for injured workers; Indigenous Employment Programs such as IAS, VTEC and IEP; ParentsNext assisting unemployed young parents gain employment skills; Labour Hire services in Blue, White and Pink collar industries; Vocational Training through our Registered Training Organisation in Certificates and Diplomas covering areas from the Trades through to Business and Community Services such as Aged Care, Individual Support, Mental Health and Disability. Finally Maxima’s Group Training employs approximately 600 trainees and apprentices and works with Host Worksites/Employers to assist in the completion of each person’s skills, training and qualification.
